You have probably heard about it; Jollibee is now serving pan-size spaghetti and palabok good for 4 to 5 people.
I seriously got excited about this. I love Jollibee’s spaghetti and a single serving is not enough for me, and while palabok is not one of my go-to orders on the menu, I tried it a couple of times and kind of like it.

I ordered both the spaghetti and palabok pans over the weekend. I am going to skip the review on Jollibee Spaghetti and focus on the palabok as this is the first time I ordered this much of this selection on the menu.

Is the Jollibee Palabok Pan microwave-safe?
The palabok is contained in black plastic, tight-lid rectangular pan, which makes it easy to carry without worrying too much about the sauce leaking. Plus points for the container as it is microwave-safe convenient for reheating. Be careful of setting the microwave timer to more than 4 or 5 minutes though; the container tends to soften if heated more than that time.
The Presentation
The Palabok Family Pan is topped with shrimps, hard-boiled egg slices, tinapa flakes (I am not sure if I tasted ground pork, but I think there’s that) all well-laid piece by piece on top of the palabok noodles. The sauce looks rich, thick and orangey enough.
The Taste
Okay, here we go… I am not going to give it a 10/10 because honestly, I felt it is lacking some things. The palabok sauce looks rich prior to mixing it with the noodles and toppings, but after mixing all those, the sauce seems insufficient for a good 4-5 servings of the noodles, ended up matabang. It feels dry in the mouth, and the toppings look like tinipid. Nevertheless, Jollibee’s palabok still gets a decent 8 out of 10 rating for me. It’s fast-food, so I should not expect so much about the serving and the taste, otherwise, I’d better go order an Amber’s or Dolores palabok in a bilao to satiate my palate and pass my palabok standards.
Want to give it a try? You can order Jolibee’s Palabok Family Pan through the Jollibee Hotline, Jolibee App, Grab, and FoodPanda. Price may vary depending on which platform you order it from.
